Potions can be a big help. But they are single use and then gone. Wouldn't it
be awesome if you could just brew your own potion or make your own poison
instead of buying them or searching for them?

Potions are where the BREWING skill comes in. Certain classes are good at this.
In order to brew a potion or make a poison, you need HERBS. In order to get
herbs you need to GATHER them. Gathering works best in places where herbs grow.
Gathering is also a way to get raw fibers, like cotton and silk. See HELP
WEAVING.

You can put whatever spell you want into a potion. The power of the potion
depends on the quality of herbs used, the level of the forge, and the skill
rank of the brewer. The quality of herbs is determined randomly and by the
skill rank of the gatherer. You can only brew potions of spells that you know.
Use the stone mortar and pestle to brew a potion.

Use the poison compounder, herbs, and poisoncraft to make a poison or an
antidote.

Usage: prospect (to find herbs)
       gather (to gather herbs)
       brew <herb> '<spell name>'
       poisoncraft <herb>
       antidotecraft <herb>
