COMPASS

This setting will display a miniature compass on your display so you can
quickly see which exits are available when exploring.  When this setting is
turned off, you will see the available exits on one single line right after
the room name.

Key to exit displays:
    N  = regular exit
   (N) = closed door
   [N] = locked door
   |N| = secret exit (elves and thieves have a chance to see)
   )N( = closed secret exit
   ]N[ = locked secret exit

Usage:  toggle compass
