MOUNT MOUNTING DISMOUNTING RIDE RIDING HORSES MOUNTS OUTFIT UNOUTFIT

A sturdy horse can be valuable to the adventurer. Using a mount will save you
stamina and give you combat bonuses.

You may purchase mounts at the stablemaster in the Grunting Board in Midgaard
(and other places). To ride your mount you must have practiced the skill
RIDE which is taught by the riding instructor at the Midgaard Corral in the
Grunting Boar. To stop riding, simply type dismount.

3 ranks in ride will allow you to ride a flying mount. You can mount
while you are fighting with a rank of 4 and you can mount a fighting mount
with a rank of 5.

Fighters can use their mounts (automatically) in combat to attack their foes.
Mounts will attack based on level (after level 15). All classes receive a
bonus to AC when mounted, but Fighters receive a larger bonus. Attacking
someone's mount is treated like a PKILL. Your mount's stamina points will
show on score if you type 'display mount'. Any EXP your mount earns will be
awarded to you.

You can spot ridable creatures in the world once you have the RIDE skill.
Higher ranks in the skill increases your chances of identifying them.

You can also OUTFIT your mounts with gear (saddles, bridles, etc.) and
UNOUTFIT them to remove all their gear. (usage: outfit <item>)

Usage: mount horse
mount report (to have your mount report its condition to you)
       dismount
