ASKS SAYS SHOUTS TELL YELLS WHISPERS SMURF TALK

These commands allow you to communicate with other players.
1) SAY (') - used to converse with others in the same room; heard by all in room.
2) SHOUT - Heard by all players on the MUD. Must be above level one to use.
3) TELL - Used to tell to one other player anywhere in the MUD.
4) YELL - Used to yell at all players in the same area.
5) WHISPER - Say sweet nothings to that special someone in the same room.

Examples:
 say Hello! Would you like to group?
 shout Please summon and heal me, i'm about to die!
 tell eriq Where are you right now?
 yell I fled to the captain's room, where's the rest of the group?
 whisper mathius You look like my sister eriq, but with less facial hair.
 smurf have you seen gargamel?
 ' can anyone lend me 5k gold, please?

You can go into automatic talkmode by using the TALKMODE command.  See
the help file for talkmode for more info.  Also, SAY can abbreviated
by just typing a quote -->  '  <-- then whatever you want to say. A period
--> . <-- will put you in talkmode.

If someone is bugging you you can IGNORE them.
