IDENTIFYSPELL

Type: divination                    Area of Effect: 1 target-can be ranged/1 item
Class: Mage, Necromancer, Wizard

If you LOOK at an item, you get a lot of information.  If you're hungry for
more, then you can cast IDENTIFYSPELL on it.  You'll see extra details which is
kind of cool for knowing what stuff does.

Conveniently, this works on people as well.  You can IDENTIFY people, monsters,
or even yourself.  If you can't cast it, no problem, there's an endless supply
of "scrolls of identify" available at ye olde magic shop in Midgaard.  With
a scroll you can use the RECITE command.  Try typing HELP RECITE for more info.
