There are two types of quests - Manual and Automated. Manual quests are run by questmasters and are usually announced, although we haven't had one in years. If you join a manual quest you will be flagged quest by the questmaster. To remove yourself use: quester <your name>. A manual quest is a great way to get a reward not normally available in the game, like equipment or increased stats. Automated quests are run by mobiles in the game and can be completed at a player's leisure. At a quest mob type QUEST and they may send you on a quest to perform a task. This task will usually be to kill a mob, retrieve an object, or get to a certain location. When you have completed your quest return to the quest mob and type QUEST again to receive your reward. Please don't ask where the 'next' quest is. There is no logical sequence, and finding quests is up to you!
