The forces of chaos and order are in constant conflict - the gods do battle
with one another and the resulting clash of power sometimes unleashes magical
shards of energy that fall from the heavens and land in the mortal realms.
The shards contain godly magic and are considered rare and powerful artifacts.
They are immune to mortal magic so locating them is difficult, but if you
happen to find one, you can use the shard's awesome magic on yourself.  You
must be at least level 10 to redeem a shard.  Note, while most shards contain
beneficial magic, cursed shards do exist, so beware! At special times of the
year shards can be fireworks or pumpkins or other names.
