There are over 500 skills and spells available to characters. Spells and
skills must be practiced once they are learned in order to get better at them.
The PRACTICE command will let you know how good your character is at a
particular skill or spell. Some skills will be taught by your regular trainer
and others skills will have to be learned by special teachers you find
throughout the game.
In ascending order, your skills might be ranked: awful, bad, poor, average,
fair, good, very good, excellent, or superb.
The highest rank you can train a skill is based on your level:
Weapons/Armor Skills (i.e. edged, armor, shield): level needed = rank * 5
For example, to train to rank 6, you will need to be a level 30.
All other skills: level needed is based on level the skill is leanred.
Level needed = level learned + (2 * rank) - 7
Skill types are as follows:
Room -affects all mobs/players in a room
Creation -creates a mob or a non-rentable item
