BUY LIST SELL VALUE

These are commands used to interact with the shopkeepers of the realms. Use
LIST to see what the shopkeeper currently has for sale, and BUY to purchase
an item listed.  The VALUE command is used to ask the shopkeeper how much they
will pay you for an item you have, and SELL will sell that item to the shop,
provided they have enough gold.  Use the IDENTIFY command to display the
statistics or attributes of an item in the shop.  You can also BUY or IDENTIFY
by number.  For example if you wanted to BUY the sword that is 7th in the
LIST, typing 'buy 7' will purchase that sword.

A * next to an item means that you can't wear it because of size, class, sex,
       race, or alignment restrictions.
A ! next to an item means the item is too large or small for your size, your
       stats aren't high enough, or you don't have enough weapon or armor
       ranks to use it.
A ~ next to an item means it's a legacy item - it's not stock. It's been
       changed in some way and won't change if the base item does.

Using IDENTIFY on the item in the store should tell you what is causing the 
codes above.

Usage: buy <item> or buy <#>
       list or list <item type>
       list usable - for a list of items you can use
       sell <item>
       value <item>
       identify <item> or identify <#>
