Races of Kallisti
Choose your heritage. Each race shapes your character's strengths, abilities, and place in the world.
Centaur
Human above, horse below, and magnificent by any reckoning — nobody quite knows where they came from.
Cyclops
Not the brutes of Greek myth but master craftspeople, big enough to back it up with heroic strength.
Dwarf
Short, stocky and long-bearded, at home in the northern mountains — on their slopes or deep inside them.
Drow
Elven in build and nothing else: dark-skinned, deep underground, and no friend of their forest cousins.
Duergar
A vile kin of the dwarves, locked in an endless struggle with the drow for the underground realms.
Eldar
Legendary and little understood — taller than humans, of mysterious origin, and extremely wise.
Elf
The firstborn, elders of every other race. Slender and less hardy, but long sorrow deepened their wisdom.
Giant
You ARE the brute squad. Enormous and immensely strong — unlocked by a paragon reaching level 52.
Gnome
Distant kin to dwarves, however little either admits it. Insatiably curious, forever tinkering.
Goblin
Small, vicious and fanged, raiding the borderlands in numbers because they lack the courage to do otherwise.
Human
The most numerous race, at home anywhere. No special gifts, and suited to absolutely any profession.
Halfling
Half the height of a human and twice as round, but more dextrous than anything else on two legs — pixies included.
Half-elf
Gifted with the qualities of both parents and shunned by both, they take to the road early and rarely settle.
Half-orc
Born of a warlike people at war with nearly everyone, and carrying that inheritance wherever they go.
Kender
The race you either adore or want to throttle — not native here, and said to have fallen from a hole in the sky.
Minotaur
Bull and man in one, often over seven feet, and aggressive toward very nearly everybody.
Ogre
Brutish savages to everyone else. Frightfully strong, hugely enduring, and usually found in armour.
Pixie
Eighteen inches of mystery. Nobody has ever found a pixie settlement, and their size costs them dearly.
Rakshasa
Tiger-headed stalkers who sneak, hide and climb by instinct — keen of mind, but frail before the divine.
Selkie
Seal folk who shift between human and seal at will, adept in the water and at home in the cold.
Troglodyte
Warlike reptilian humanoids of the deep caverns, scaled in grey-brown leather and seeing in the dark.
Troll
Nine feet and more of legendary menace — thin, ungainly, and possessed of unimaginable constitution.
Werewolf
Human by day, humanoid wolf by night. Strong, fast and more than a little crazy — unlocked at Paragon 54.
