Classes of Kallisti
Every adventurer starts in one of five base classes. Those first ten levels are a proving ground — enough to learn how a superclass handles, not somewhere to settle. At level 10 you specialize, and that is the character you actually play. Twenty paths in all.
Fighter
Base classMaster of weapons, warfare and tactics — the broadest martial road, and the one every other warrior branches from.
Barbarian
Brute strength as a creed. Undisputed masters of weapon and armour, at the cost of ever studying the arcane.
Paladin
Courageous warriors who fight for righteousness, rewarded for their faith with protective and healing gifts.
Dreadlord
The polar opposite of the Paladin: dark power wedded to strength of arms, rampaging so that evil may reign.
Ranger
Hunter and woodsman, living by wits as much as the sword, versed in the wilderness and a little hedge magic.
Valkyrie
Elite warriors who slay the dragon, rescue the prince, and drink mead while choosing the worthy for Ragnarok.
Rogue
Base classScourge to some, hero to others. Lives off the toil of others through lockpicking, theft, disguise and feigned death.
Assassin
Death from the shadows — backstab, garrotte, hamstring and trap, with an eye always on the surroundings.
Demoniac
A secretive sect close in doctrine to the necromancers, but trafficking with demons rather than studying death.
Bard
Merry, wanderlust-stricken, and far more dangerous than the lute suggests.
Priest
Base classThe faithful of the realm: healing, divine protection, and the removal of what ails the party.
Templar
The Paladin's counterpart, fighting for good by faith — and forbidden the blade's edge unless born to stone.
Druid
Forest dwellers bound to nature so closely they can wear its shapes and wield its forces.
Prophet
The upper echelon of the faithful — priests who do not merely speak for their deity, but with them.
Mage
Base classWorshipped and feared in equal measure, channelling the arcane from spellbooks they cannot cast without.
Monastic
Base classWarriors of the martial arts, forgoing most armour and weapons for what the body alone can do.
